The School of Light presents

Soul-Led AI

A 2-Day Immersive for Anyone Ready to Use Technology Without Losing Themselves in It

August 21 + 22, 2026

Friday and Saturday  ·  12:00 – 4:00 PM Pacific  ·  Live Online

⏱ 4 Hours Each Day 👥 Small Group
✦ All Experience Levels

“AI isn’t going to replace you. But it might replace the version of you that’s exhausted, overwhelmed, and doing everything the hard way.”

Here’s what I keep hearing from people in our community. They feel behind. Like everyone else figured out AI a long time ago and they’re the only ones still standing on the outside looking in. And I want to say this clearly, and I mean it: that is not true. Most people are just as uncertain as you are. They’re just quieter about it.

AI is one of the biggest shifts happening in the world right now. And you’re allowed to feel both curious and overwhelmed at the same time. You’re allowed to want to understand it without having to become a tech person to do it. And you’re allowed to ask the question that almost nobody else is asking in these kinds of classes: what does it mean to use this in a way that’s actually soul-aligned?

That’s what these two days are about. Not a crash course. Not a firehose of information. A real, grounded, intimate experience where you leave with tools that work for your actual life, your actual voice, and your actual work. Whether you’re a business owner, a healer, a teacher, someone in the middle of a life transition, or just a person who wants to understand what’s happening in the world right now… this is for you.

– New to Soul-Led AI?

This 2-day immersive builds on our free intro class. If you haven’t watched it yet, start there. It’s free, it’s about 2 hours, and it gives you the foundation that makes these two days so much richer. Watch it first, then come back here and register.

Free · No signup required · Watch anytime

– This is for you if

You’ve heard everyone talking about AI and you’re not sure where to even begin, or you’ve tried it and it still feels random and disconnected from how you actually think.

You want to save real time and energy in your daily life without feeling like you’re handing over your creativity or your voice to a machine.

You have a business, a practice, or a creative project and you’re doing more manually than you need to because nobody’s shown you what’s safe to hand off.

You care deeply about staying authentic, and the thought of AI making you sound like everyone else genuinely worries you.

You want to understand where all of this is heading, not to be an expert, just to feel informed and grounded enough to make conscious choices about how you use it.

You don’t have to be a business owner to show up for this. You don’t have to have used AI even once before. You just have to be willing to try something new in a space that feels safe, real, and human. That’s the only entry requirement. Right?

What happens over the two days

Day One

Your Voice. Your Tools. Your Foundation

Friday, Aug 21  ·  12-4 PM Pacific

Day One is all about grounding. Before we open a single AI tool, we go deeper than most technology classes ever go: into what makes you, you. Your voice, your values, your way of seeing the world. Because if you understand that first, AI becomes something that serves you rather than something that dilutes you.

Hour One

Understanding AI in Plain Language

We start with the basics, but not in a boring, textbook way. You’ll understand what AI actually is, how it thinks, and why it sometimes gets things wrong. You’ll learn the difference between the main tools available and what each one is genuinely best at. No jargon. No overwhelm. Just a clear picture that finally makes sense.

  • What AI is and what it isn’t, including what it can and cannot do on its own
  • The most common tools, explained simply: Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and a few specialty ones worth knowing about
  • How to pick the right tool for the right job without getting lost in comparison mode
  • Why AI sometimes sounds flat, generic, or just plain wrong, and how to change that
  • A simple framework for deciding what AI is helpful for in your specific life

Sunny: “You don’t need to know how the engine works. You just need to know how to drive. That’s what this hour is about.”

Hour Two

Training AI to Sound Like You

This is the hour most people say changes everything for them. We’re going to build your personal voice document together, live. A real, written guide to who you are, how you communicate, what you’d never say, and what makes your writing unmistakably yours. Then we paste it into an AI tool and watch the before-and-after difference happen in real time. You’ll see it shift. It’s remarkable.

  • A guided voice audit: the 5 words that describe your tone, the phrases you always use, and the ones you’d never say
  • Building your personal voice document live in the class, with Sunny and Kris walking you through every section
  • How to give AI your voice document so it actually uses it, not just reads it
  • Live demo: Sunny pastes her own SOL voice document into Claude and writes a post in real time so you can see exactly how it works
  • Hands-on practice: everyone tries it with their own document before the hour ends

Sunny: “I want you to see this live because reading about it is not the same as watching it happen. When the output shifts from sounding like a robot to sounding like you, something clicks. And once it clicks, you can’t unsee it.”

Hour Three

How to Talk to AI So It Actually Listens

This is the skill that separates people who get great results from AI and people who give up on it. It’s called prompting, and it’s not complicated once someone shows you the pattern. We’re going to break it down into a simple, repeatable structure you can use for anything from writing an email to planning a class to researching something you’ve been trying to figure out for weeks.

  • The four-part structure of a prompt that actually works: role, context, task, and format
  • Why giving AI an example of what you want matters more than describing it perfectly
  • How to treat it like a conversation, not a vending machine, and why that changes everything
  • The most common mistakes people make when they first start prompting, and how to avoid every one of them
  • Live workshop: everyone brings a real task from their actual work and builds a prompt for it right in the session

Sunny: “Most people give up on AI because they try it once, the result is mediocre, and they decide it doesn’t work for them. But they never learned how to ask. This hour fixes that.”

Hour Four

Building Your Personal AI Workflow

Now we put it all together. You’re going to leave this day with more than ideas. You’ll have a real, working system: a voice document that’s already trained, a set of reusable templates for your most common tasks, and a clear picture of where AI fits in your actual week. Not someday. Starting this weekend.

  • Mapping your current week: where does time disappear, and where could AI genuinely help?
  • Building your personal prompt library: 5 to 10 reusable templates you can reach for on any given day
  • Templates for the things most people in this room do most often: emails, social posts, class descriptions, newsletter drafts, planning sessions, research
  • What to automate and what to protect, because not everything should be handed off, and we’ll talk honestly about where that line is
  • Workshop: everyone builds their number-one most useful reusable prompt and tests it before the day ends

Sunny: “I want you to leave today with something you built. Not just ideas. Something you actually tried, that works, that you’re going to use Monday morning.”

Between the two days

Tonight your assignment is simple: use one thing you built today to do something real. Write an email, draft a post, outline a project, plan your week. Then bring whatever happened to Day Two, whether it worked beautifully or fell completely flat. The attempt is the assignment. Imperfect is expected and absolutely welcome.

Day Two

The Bigger Picture. What’s Coming. Your 90-Day Plan

Saturday, Aug 22  ·  12-4 PM Pacific

Day Two is where we zoom out. You’ve built the foundation. Now we look at where AI is heading, what it means for the kind of work and life you’re building, and how to stay grounded and soul-led inside all of it. You’ll leave with a written plan and a clear path forward.

Opening

What Happened When You Tried It?

We open Day Two together, sharing what happened with the overnight practice. What worked? What surprised you? What was harder than you expected? This isn’t about performance. It’s about learning together from real attempts, including the messy ones. Especially the messy ones.

  • Open share: what did you try and what actually happened?
  • Live troubleshooting for the most common struggles: output that sounded off-brand, responses that felt flat, moments that just felt weird
  • Sunny shares her own overnight experiment and what she learned from it
  • Celebrating the attempts, because the willingness to try something new is the whole thing

Hour Two

The Next Wave: What’s Actually Coming with AI

AI is moving fast. And most people are either ignoring that or feeling anxious about it. We’re going to do neither. Kris is going to walk you through what’s coming, plainly and honestly, so you can make conscious choices rather than reactive ones. You’ll learn about AI that doesn’t just respond to you but actually takes action on your behalf. And we’ll talk about what that means for people like us.

  • What “agentic AI” means in plain English: AI that does things, not just says things
  • Real examples of what this looks like right now: AI that reads your emails and drafts replies, manages your schedule, researches topics and builds you a summary, runs workflows while you sleep
  • A live demo of what this actually looks like in practice, shown in real time
  • The soul check for all of it: what’s worth exploring, what to be thoughtful about, and what to protect as human
  • Discussion: what would you want AI to do for you? And what would you never want it to do?

Sunny: “You’re not required to use any of this. You are required to know it exists so you can make an informed, soul-led choice about your relationship with it.”

Hour Three

AI for Your Actual Life and Work

This is where we get specific to you. Because a spiritual teacher, a healer, a small business owner, a course creator, and someone managing a household all have different needs. We’re going to map your specific situation to the AI uses that will make the real difference, and skip the ones that don’t apply to you at all.

  • For spiritual teachers and coaches: class prep and descriptions, student follow-up emails, intake forms, content repurposing from recordings and transcripts
  • For healers and practitioners: session notes and summaries, resource libraries for clients, email sequences that still feel personal
  • For course creators and community builders: module outlines, Circle post ideas, event descriptions, member welcome sequences
  • For personal use: planning, research, journaling prompts, family communications, health tracking, learning something new
  • Small group mapping: identify your 3 highest-leverage uses and leave knowing exactly where to focus

Sunny: “You don’t need to use every tool. You need to know 2 or 3 things that are genuinely right for you. That specificity is the gift.”

Hour Four

Your 90-Day Soul-Led AI Plan

The last thing we do together is build your plan. Because information without a next step is just more to hold. You’re going to leave this day with a clear, written, personal roadmap that takes you from where you are right now to where you want to be with AI in 90 days. Three specific commitments. Broken into three 30-day phases. Grounded in who you are and what you actually want.

  • Days 1 to 30: one tool, one use case, one reusable prompt in regular rotation
  • Days 31 to 60: your voice document refined and your workflow documented so it becomes a real, repeatable practice
  • Days 61 to 90: one new experiment, explored with curiosity and shared back with the community
  • Guided template: 20 minutes of individual writing time with Sunny and Kris available for support
  • Live Q&A to close the two days together: bring every question you’ve been holding

Sunny: “When we allow our divinity to guide our humanity, love becomes the thing we live every single day. That includes how we choose to use technology.”

What you’ll leave with

Your guides for the two days

Sunny Dawn Johnston

Founder and CVO, School of Light

Sunny is a spiritual teacher, intuitive guide, and transformational mentor with over 30 years of experience helping people reconnect with who they actually are. She’s the author of multiple books, a weekly columnist for Woman’s World magazine, host of SOLtalk on YouTube, and the founder of The School of Light, a community built on the belief that soul-led living is for real life, not a perfect life.

Sunny has been using AI inside the School of Light for over a year, and the biggest thing she’s learned is that the soul has to lead the technology, not the other way around. She brings to this class what she brings to every teaching: honesty, lived experience, and the ability to help you find your own clarity inside something that might feel new and unfamiliar.

A NOTE FROM SUNNY
“From the moment I started using AI, I loved what it could do. I really did. I saw how it could give us back time, expand our reach, and help us do more of what we actually came here to do.

But here’s what I also saw: so many people I love and respect were scared of it. Frozen by it. Convinced it was something happening to them instead of something they could choose to use with intention and wisdom. And I thought, that’s exactly where I want to be. Right in the middle of that, helping people see that this tool, used soul-first, can actually be one of the most liberating things we bring into our work and our lives.

You don’t have to be afraid of change. You’re allowed to get curious about it instead. That’s exactly what Kris and I are here to help you do.”

Kris Voelker

AI and Tech Operations, School of Light

Kris is the person who actually builds and runs AI inside the School of Light. She’s the one who took Sunny’s vision for a soul-led, human-centered use of technology and turned it into a real, working system. She manages the AI operations, the automations, and the tools that keep the School running efficiently without losing its heart.

Kris has a rare gift: she can take something technical and make it feel completely approachable. She meets you where you are and walks you through things in a way that actually makes sense. She is patient, clear, and genuinely excited about helping people discover that they are more capable with this than they think.

What makes her perspective especially valuable is that she has built all of this from the inside of a heart-centered, spiritually grounded organization. She knows how to integrate AI in a way that supports the soul of your work instead of overriding it.

A NOTE FROM KRIS
“I’ve watched people walk into classes like this convinced that AI is not for them. Too complicated. Too cold. Too far outside of how they think and work. And I’ve watched those same people leave with something they built themselves, something that actually sounds like them, something they’re proud of.
That moment never gets old for me. You don’t have to be a tech person. You just have to be willing to try. I’ll handle the rest.”
